Hey fellows of the NC,

This is a sample of how the opinion page of the NonConformist could look if we used Blogger. Articles, or syndicated shorts of articles, would go here with links to each full article and its corresponding comments.

Once we outsource this site to another page, the Blogger "NavBar" at the top of the screen will disappear. Also, much of the formatting, like the arrows in the sidebar, can be removed rather easily.

Of course, this blogsite would be outsourced to a URL like www.nonconformistmag.com/opinion/.

Advantage of Blogger

One of the huge advantages of using Blogger is comments. Comments contribute to pagehits in three ways:

First, people who read the article will be interested to see what people have said. This keeps them at the site longer and gives them more chances to notice other links and advertisements.
Second, anyone who comments will be taken to Blogger to comment, but will return to the main page of the blog right afterwards, producing more pagehits and extra time at the site.
Third, people who comment will return over and over again to look for responses to their comments.
